Our History



1936: February-Cook Library Established

1936: April-First Librarian, Mary Knapp

1949: Cook Library moved to Cook Municipal
Building

1960: New Librarian-Angie Gustafson

1967: Joined Arrowhead Library System

1981: New Librarian-Lois Larson

1994: Renovations on new library space began

1995: Library moved to current space

2007: Friends of the Cook Library Established

2012: New Librarian-Steve Harsin

2014: New Librarian-Crystal Phillips
